Lysistrata is an ancient war comedy that was originally written by Aristophanes, in 411 BCE. The setting takes place in ancient Greece. Lysistrata, an Athenian woman, gathers the women of the Greek city-states to make an oath of celibacy until the Peloponnesian War is over! Their husbands come home with a full erection only to find their wives denying sex. This production is Just in time for women’s month. LGA presents their version of Lysistrata to the Ark-La-Tex and other cities . LGA’s aim is to present educational and entertaining performances.
